The OIU Annual Golf Day was an amazing day out for all!
We were greeted with perfect playing conditions at Avondale GC on Wednesday 27th March for the annual OIU golf day. Sixty-four old boy golfers battled it out for the silverware with the event being one of our most successful in terms of player numbers, despite being in the run up to Easter. Encouragingly, approximately 20 percent of the field were old boys under the age of 30, so well done to all who managed to “work from home” on the day! Special thanks must go to the event organisers and the wonderfully accommodating staff of Avondale who made the day most enjoyable.
Results: Frank Quirk (OR 1963) - Individual Winner of the Fr Charles Fraser SJ Cup; Henry Pagliaro (OR 2022) & Daniel Lee (OR 2016) - 4BBB Winners of the AJ Clark AM Shield; and Henry Pagliaro (OR 2022) - U30 Winner of the Charles Cuschieri Cup.
We look forward to seeing you all later in the year to defend our title against Joey’s in our annual grudge match.
