Australian of the Year
Professor Richard Scolyer AO and Professor Georgina Long AO (Daughter of Geoff Long (OR52). Co-medical directors of Melanoma Institute Australia, Professor Scolyer and Professor Long, have long-standing ties with Sydney Local Health District including as members of the Sydney Research Council. Professor Scolyer is a senior staff specialist with the RPA Tissue Pathology and Diagnostic Oncology Department, where he first joined as a registrar in 1998 and among his many national and international accolades, was awarded the RPA Research Medal in 2016.  The pair were named 2024 NSW Australians of the Year in November for their world-leading research into advanced melanoma and advocacy for sun-safe behaviour and cancer prevention which has saved thousands of lives.

Ms Catherine Brighid Livingstone AO, Milsons Point NSW – (past parent - son Hugh Satterthwaite OR2008)
For eminent service to business, particularly through governance and strategic reform, to tertiary education, to science, technology and innovation capability development, and to the arts.
 
Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division 
The Honourable Dr Brian Patrick Pezzutti CSC RFD, Lennox Head NSW – (past parent, sons James OR1997 & Michael OR1994) - For significant service to the Parliament of New South Wales, and to community health.
 
Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division 
Mrs Lenore Elizabeth Robertson, Longueville NSW 2066 – (husband of Paul Robertson AO and son, Stuart (OR2005))
For significant service to the community, and to the arts.
 
Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division 
Mrs Christine Florence Butters, NSW – (son Neale Butters OR1993)
For service to the community through music and sport.
 
Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division 
Mr Michael Bernard Fay, Moruya NSW – (OR1965, father of Byron Fay OR2004) 
For service to international relations, and to education.
 
Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division 
Mr Eris Daniel Gleeson, Young  NSW  – (Father of Dr Liam Gleeson OR2006 & husband of Dr Fiona Gleeson) For service to the community of the Hilltops region.
 
Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division 
Mr Peter Charles Waterman, Griffith ACT – (OR1969)
For service to the media as a journalist.
 
Public Service Medal (PSM) in the General Division Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry 
Mr Nicholas John Housego, Pearce ACT – (OR1977)
For outstanding public service in developing and embedding the practice of facilitation services within government departments and agencies.
