A quick update from the Old Ignatians Cricket Club in the Northern Suburbs Cricket Association competitions.  

The club currently has 2 teams competing in the NSCA, one in B Grade and one in C Grade. The B Grade side is made of up Old Ignatians from the mid to late 2010s while for the C Grade side I am the only actual Old Boy left – the core of this team (from the 1989/90 years)  having moved on – a number of players have been with the club for well over a decade. Although not Old Boys themselves they have an enthusiasm for the club which highlights its great spirit and inclusive nature.  I myself left the school in 1989 and have played with the club since the mid 1990s so I am well aware of the “Trundlers” history of the club that we spoke about. The likes of Baz and Dale Richards and the Coleman brothers were still very much a part of the club when I joined.
