JESUIT MISSION BAZAAR REPORT
Saturday, September 30
Clear skies and large crowds heralded another cracking success for the annual Jesuit Missions Bazaar held at the school on Saturday September 9 2023. As the clock ticked over 9am, there was a buzz of excitement in the air as thousands of people spilled into the gates of Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview for the annual Jesuit Mission Bazaar. Close to 10,000 people were greeted by an electric atmosphere of rides, the wine auction, the Ham Wheel, BBQ, other food stalls, music and the lively chatter
of old and new friends. This was all for a common purpose – to raise much needed funds for vulnerable communities around the world. Thank you for joining Jesuit Mission for this wonderful community event. The Bazaar would not be possible without the continued support of the OIU who have been an integral part of its success for over 70 years. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

ED Note: A huge "Thank You" to all members of the Riverview Community who helped out on stalls this year. The sheer number of volunteers who selflessly give up their time is testament to our core principles of service and engagement..
Not wanting to single out any one year or stall, I must acknowledge Damien Scroope and his band of acolytes on the Ham Wheel. The Bazaar would not be the same without your wonderful efforts. Thank you.
PPS: Following the annual Darcy Hall letter to members, 70 lots auctioned by the John Meagher and Nick Butts raising over $23k. Thank you also to donations from Tom Ward of Swinging Bridge, Adam Elbourne of Elbourne Wines and Michael Wren of Wren Estate. And a huge donation from Grahame de Carvalho from The Wine Collective. Good one fellas.
PS The Thank You mass and reception is on at Ridge St North Sydney on 1 November. Please RSVP your attendance by Wednesday 25 October at https://jesuitmission.org.au/
