Class of 73 - 50 year reunion

We held our reunion at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, Kirribilli as guests of John Maclurcan and Myles Coolican. We were just shy of 50 in number. Several had attended the Riverview Kings match home game that afternoon. Dermot Maxwell gave his speech during the half time interval of the Bledisloe test match when all hope was already lost!. Dermot spoke of enduring friendships, of those who had recently passed (four since our 45 year reunion) health, good memories and the opportunities that we were given arising from our days at View. It was terrific to see so many old friends share a laugh and to hear their news and plans for the future. The night was relaxed and too short as usual though…. …on the Sunday about 30 (including partners) enjoyed lunch and a leisurely afternoon at the Woolwich Pier Hotel, an old stomping ground for many. Several took the opportunity to arrive by ferry on what was a truly balmy day for July
