FORMAL DINNER AT COLLEGE

On Monday 27th March, I accompanied the School Principal Dr Hine to a formal dinner at St Johns College within the University of Sydney. The two institutions have a very long association, with the first students from Riverview attending St. Johns as early as 1886!. The Rector Dr. Mark Schembri and a group of Fresher students from Riverview joined Dr Hine and I in a tour of the College to hear about some of its early and hear first hand how the undergraduates are managing the transition to Uni life. On behalf of the Union, I thank The Rector and students for their warm welcome and look forward to building an what is already a close and deep association between the two Colleges.
