ANNUAL OIU GOLF DAY 2023

Faced with a very warm day of 32 degrees, plenty of hydration was in order for the OIU’s annual golf day held on Wednesday 8th March at Avondale GC. Seventy-eight old boy golfers battled it out for the silverware with the event being our most successful in terms of player numbers. Most encouragingly, over a third of the field were old boys under the age of 30, so well done to all who managed to “work from home” on the day! Special thanks must go to the event organisers and the wonderfully accommodating staff of Avondale who made the day most enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all later in the year to defend our title against Joey’s in our annual grudge match. The proceeds of the day saw the OIU kindly donate $2000 to the Riverview Bursary.
