Dally Bird (OR2020) 20 years of age, got a late call up to join Australian 7s team in South Africa.
He did not know if he could step up, he did scoring 2 tries across the tournament.
The average age in the team is 24, so Dally was the youngest player in his team. Captain Henry Hutchison old Riverview Boy. They were the only Ignatians in the team and when interviewed said they were both Riverview Boys. Dally was captain 1st XV in 2020.
