Old Ignatians Football Club 2025 was a successful season for the Old Ignatians Football club, with two of three teams making the semi finals. The AA4 and AA11 sides both finished in 4th place, needing to knock off two very strong 1st placed sides to advance. Unfortunately, despite a late comeback and a well taken penalty from Charlie O'Connor ('24), the AA11's fell short 1-2 in their semi final to the eventual premiers. Congratulations to Henry Digges ('24), who secured the club Golden Boot award for 2025 with 12 goals! The AA4 side had a fantastic ending to a superb season. Two crucial goals in two weeks from Aaron Visscher ('19) saw the side knock out the undefeated minor premiers 1-0 in the semi-final, before he grabbed the all important go ahead goal in the grand final the week after to win 2-1, crowning the lads Premiers for 2025!
