With the Ashes series just around the corner, this year's Old Ignatians' Union Sports Lunch promises an entertaining afternoon of cricket conversation, connection and community. We're delighted to announce our panel: 

• Geoff Lawson – Former Australian fast bowler and one of cricket's sharpest commentators. Geoff played a key role in two Ashes victories, including Australia's hard-fought 1982–83 series win on home soil, where he was the leading wicket-taker, and the historic 1989 triumph in England. He captained New South Wales, coached the Pakistan national team, and remains a respected and active voice in the game. 

• Jason Krejza – Former Test spinner and Riverview's Master in Charge of Cricket, best known for his remarkable 12-wicket haul on Test debut against India. Now inspiring the next generation of players at Riverview. 

• Simon Lee-Young (OR2023) – A rising cricket star, Simon is currently representing Australia in the Under 19 national team, offering a glimpse into the future of Australian cricket. 

The panel will be hosted by the highly respected John Meagher (OR1990), a long-time Sports Lunch MC whose knowledge and humour always make for a great afternoon.
