I know many of you were extremely happy when Mark Tannock and the College Council recently agreed to have the Riverview v Joeys match return to the college. I think I speak for many when I say that this annual event contributes significantly to the culture and traditions of the college and is one of the great memories held by all who have attended the school. 

Unfortunately, the last few games at the College before being moved to Leichardt were marred by the inappropriate behaviour of a minority of attendees. I am not specifically pointing the finger at Old Boys, just attendees in general. The College and the OIU want to ensure that the upcoming game is a great event that can be enjoyed by all and is a positive reflection of our community and its values. 

With this in mind, I would like to ask all Old Boys attending the match to support the College in ensuring the day turns out to be the success we all want it to be. Each of us should lead by example in demonstrating the correct behaviours and calling out those not doing the right thing. 

To alleviate crowd numbers, the College has also organised for the 1st XV (3.15pm) and 2nd XV (2pm) games to be streamed live at the following venues: The Diddy, The Greenwood Hotel, The Great Northern Hotel and The Longueville Hotel.
