Last Tuesday night the College held its annual Bursary Thank You function and Mass with 200+ in attendance. It was another special evening of thanks and reflection of how the OIU Bursary program helps to change young lives. Fr Tom Renshaw (OR1990) and College Rector expertly presided over the Mass and Jonah Johnson (OR2015) gave a wonderful speech about his time at Riverview and how it helped him to be the impressive young man he now is (my words, not his!). 

We heard Jonah's story from Riverview to Uni where he was an Indigenous Tutor, before joining CBA - but then saw the light - and is now working in Townsville with the Digital team at NITV. He will go far, but more importantly, he's a fine example of the ripple effect of Bursary recipients contributing to their communities and truly being Men for Others....and he's a great public speaker! No matter how large or small, the OIU Bursary program continues to need your help.
