All Age 4 (AA4) The AA4 have had a solid last month. A strong 1-1 draw against one of the comp's top sides, followed by a tough 4-2 loss to All Saints Hunters Hill. In their last match, a double from Callum Wappett (OR2019), including a last minute winner, saw them knock off the undefeated Redbacks FC 3-2 in an enthralling contest, in which Liam Biddle (OR2019) and Sam Craig (OR2019) celebrated their 50th game for the club. After 6 games, they are one win outside the top 4, in a tightly contested competition. All Age 9 (AA9) The AA9 side have been unlucky due to the wet weather to have only played 2 games, and are yet to grab their first win of the season. However, 2 strong draws against 1st and 2nd on their table, have them sitting firmly in the middle of the table. A 0-0 draw against West Ryde helped ensured Josh Legdin didn't lose on his 50th club game, whilst a high-scoring 3-3 draw against reiging-champions Epping FC who haven't lost in over 18 months. All Age 11 (AA11) The AA11 side are growing into their first season with OIFC nicely. A couple high-scoring affairs, have been coupled with a tough 4-0 loss against Epping FC. A 4-1 win against Beecroft FC and a high-scoring 5-3 win against Macquarie University has them sitting only on goal difference out of the top 4. Led by the goal scoring exploits of Charlie O'Connor (2024) and Elijah Wehrhahn (OR2024), they are priming themselves for a strong season, and a maiden finals berth! |
