We were greeted with perfect playing conditions on Wednesday 18th September as Avondale GC hosted the annual Riverview vs Joey's Golf Day. A solid turn-out of eighty players participated making it one of our most successful events ever. 

Drew de Carvalho took out individual top honours in winning the Bob Barry Cup. Jason Rich and Luke Hartman combined in the 4-ball to win the Kevin Slocum Shield. In what was one the closest events in memory, in the overall challenge match (an aggregate of the best 20 scores from each school) Riverview unfortunately went down fighting 638 to 625.

It was Joey's first victory since 2016. Special thanks to the organisers and we look forward to September 2025 to seek redemption.
