Terry Meagher (OR50) died peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday September 21st. He is the father of Bruce (OR83), Andrew (OR84), John (OR90), father-in-law to James Dickinson (OR85) and grandfather to Felix Dickinson (OR2021) and Ignatius Meagher (Yr10 Fernando), Kate, married to James Dickinson (OR90). 

Terry was Secretary of the OIU in the 1980's when Fr Charles Fraser was President, and spent countless hours working for the Jesuit Mission and particularly on the Bazaar. He was awarded the Insignis Medal for service to the College and Jesuits. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolour, and their children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Terry's father was Michael Meagher (dec) (OR21), and they lived in Cootamundra. 

His brothers are:

*Fr Paddy (Patrick M) Meagher SJ (OR52) 

*Robert (Bob) Michael Meagher (OR58) who was Captain of Rowing 1958, son is Doug Meagher (OR82) 

*Rev Fr Geoffrey Michael Meagher SJ (OR60) – born in Wagga Wagga, NSW; died Kolkata, India on 5 March 2020 and his funeral Mass took place on 6 March in the Chapel of St Stanislaus College, Sitagarha, India. A member of the Hazaribah Province of the Society of Jesus, Geoff was 77 years old and had been a Jesuit for 59 years and a missionary in India for 54 years.
