Teresa House Update - Good news

The New Year has seen an increase in the number registered volunteers to a point that we can open the House once a week starting on Friday the 3rd March.

We will be able to host up to 6 guests that will be provided overnight accommodation, dinner and breakfast but more importantly, a respite from "sleeping rough"

Location:  96 Redfern St, Redfern.

Two shifts with 2 volunteers per shift are required per evening consisting of

Dinner   6:00pm - 9:30pm
Overnight 9:30pm - 7:30am

Key to the House’s ongoing support for the homeless is the volunteer base. In the past, Riverview was a key source of volunteers and we need ex/new volunteers to register by emailing: carmel.shaw@cana.org.au  to register your interest in volunteering and Carmel will walk you through the regsitration process. The objective is to return to the Friday and Saturday nights that Riverview supported in the past.
