The School recently released plans of the new future learning environment 'Wingaru' - a Cammeraigal term which means ‘to think’. The building has been sensitively and thoughtfully designed and named to reflect the site’s Indigenous heritage. Wingaru will provide specialised facilities for studying STEMP: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Personal Development Health and Physical Education (PDHPE). This building will form an integral part of the overall comprehensive (Masterplan) of the College, which seeks to provide a multifaceted landscape of learning that taps into each student’s natural sense of curiosity and discovery, where every classroom becomes a hub of collaborative and creative energies that magnifies a deeper, more enduring and applied learning that will help our students to thrive beyond the College gates. The Masterplan is expected to span three decades in order to minimise disruption to the boys' learning. Copies of the School Masterplan can be view here. The Masterplan is expected to span three decades, spaced out to minimise disruptions to classes and the everyday operations of the campus. |
