Masterclass Co-curricular Lunch

As members of the Riverview Community, Old Ignatians are warmly invited to attend this year's MasterClass—our annual Co-Curricular Lunch which raises funds for the College's Co-Curricular program. 
Last year's lunch was such a roaring success, that people are still talking about it! Straight off the back of last year's lunch we're very excited to bring you another MasterClass in 2014.
 
So what exactly is MasterClass?
MasterClass is a luncheon which seeks to raise funds for Riverview's Co-Curricular Program. Let's be clear: this is not just about our major sporting codes—we pride ourselves on providing a wide range of sports and activities to engage our students' interests. To ensure the depth and success of our program, we want to be able to engage quality coaches, assist in the running of teams, groups and clubs, and provide top-quality equipment to all participants. We need your support to do so.
 
Where will the funds go?
This year we'd like to be able to purchase portable seating for spectators on our sporting fields, we'd like to cater for increased participation in our swimming and track and field programs, and to explore further debating competitions to allow the growth in interest currently expressed by the students.
 
What does 'MasterClass' actually mean?
MasterClass provides a rare opportunity to learn something from individuals in the prime of their professions; people who've made notable achievements in their industries; persons who have some words of wisdom to share about their experiences, and their lives in general.
 
Great! Who's speaking this year?
We're very proud to be hosting multi award winning actress Cate Blanchett, and welcome back to the lunch this year international opera singer Amelia Farrugia, and television personality and Old Ignatian', Andrew O'Keefe.
 
Who can attend?
All of our community members  and their guests are welcome. If you're a current, past, future parent, or an old boy, you don't want to miss this lunch!
 
Where? When? How much?
Friday 29 August, Sydney Cricket Ground in the brand new Noble Dining Room, pre-drinks at 11.30am on the hallowed turf, lunch at 12.30. $190 ticket price is all inclusive. 
For the lover of a long lunch…….the Members Pavilion Long Bar will be open from 4pm.
